Word to the wise!

I led a Mini Cooper drive yesterday and we had one Mini leave the road on our first aggressive left hand turn.

No real damage as the car fortunately slid into a vacant lot. The right front tire/rim had a problem as some relatively large pebbles became lodged between the rim and the tire and the tire started to lose pressure. I loaned him my pressure gauge and the tire in question was at 22 PSI. We checked the other three and all were at 22 PSI and they should have been at 33 PSI. No wonder he had problems staying on the road!

His car had been in for service and he believed that the tires were checked by the dealer.

I guess the moral of the story is CHECK YOUR OWN TIRE PRESSURES.
